LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) — Police said they robbed and shot a man for a winning lottery ticket worth $1,000.
James Watts and Andrel Page are behind bars for the alleged crime.
Police said it happened moments after a 19-year-old had won a scratch-off back on Feb. 7, inside a Marathon Station on Taylor Boulevard.
Police said both admitted to their involvement in the shooting. The victim survived. We’re told the duo were seen on surveillance around the time of the shooting.
Page and Watts were arrested Tuesday. Page is behind bars on $50,000 cash bond. Watts is sitting in jail on $5,000 cash. Both are due back in court on March 4.
