Guenther Receives 45-Year Fuller Brush Award


Kurt Guenther received his 45-year Fuller Brush award, Saturday, Aug. 26 at the 12th Annual Fuller Brush Meeting/4 hour Sales Seminar at Ponderosa Steakhouse in Beaver Dam.
Guenther also received two other awards, including Top 10 in Sales for the 21st straight year and Top 10 in Recruiting for the 17th time in 21 years. Guenther has delivered Fuller Brush to thousands of customers in Horicon, Mayville, Juneau and Beaver Dam areas since 1972.
He also ships nationally, but, most of his business has come from Dodge County. Guenther’s top three products are Carpet Sweepers (over 14,000 sold), plus Fulsol Degreaser and Moth- Deodorant Blocks.
The meeting included 13 speakers from four states with over 500 years combined Fuller Brush & Stanley Home Products experience. It’s the 111th anniversary of Fuller Brush, and Kurt Guenther was the emcee/host/joke teller.
Fuller Brush VP Larry Gray announced the awards for Guenther. “Kurt and his lovely wife, Sue, personify the passion and dedication of our iconic company. Kurt started at age 16 under the tutelage of Iron Ridge legend Alphonse ‘Bonzo’ Westphal.
Kurt and Sue’s ‘Brady Bunch’ of six children have all helped with the business with deliveries and customer records; and became part-time distributors.” Guenther concluded, “My Dodge County customers are amazing, and Fuller Brush has done so much for my family. The flexibility of hours allowed 25 years of coaching 40 talented basketball teams, and now playing and managing two senior softball teams for nine seasons.
