On Tuesday, February 24, information from a concerned citizen led officers of the Fulton Police Department, to a residence in Fulton where an in-house marijuana growing operation was discovered. Officers responded to 413 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive Fulton, KY. Upon entering the residence officers observed a room set up to grow marijuana. A search warrant was obtained and officers executed the warrant on the house at approximately 02:20 p.m.

The in-house operation had a planter system that was designed to grow up to 32 plants at a time. The system had its own water, heat, and air circulation supply. Other rooms of the house were used to dry the plants. Upon checking, the residence was rented to a Steven Lee Bohannon, white male adult, D.O.B. 12-29-1983. Mr. Bohannon was not at the residence upon officer’s arrival. Detective Sgt. Steven Williams initialized a records check on Mr. Bohannon which produced information that Mr. Bohannon had active warrants from the State of Michigan for felony delivery/manufacture of marijuana.

Officers processed the residence and a large amount of evidence was seized. Detective Sgt. William will be obtaining warrants for Mr. Bohannon. The department requests that anyone with knowledge of the location of Mr. Bohannon, contact the Fulton Police Department or their local law enforcement agency.
